At the foothills of the Cserhát, an experimental organic field is dedicated to organic poultry farming. In the undisturbed, lush vegetation, the hens instinctively scavenge the physiologically necessary trace elements. In addition to chemical-free micro-greens, insects and worms, their supplementary feed is locally grown wheat and corn. Generous grazing and ethical rearing provide an ideal, stress-free environment for healthy egg production. The shell is porous and resistant. The egg whites are stable, contain vitamin B2, more protein and less fat. The yolk is tasty, rich in vitamins D, B6, B12, and minerals – selenium, phosphorus, zinc, iron and copper.
