Designer: Miklós Majzik (1868-1921) was a surveyor engineer born in Nagyfüged. He is the inventor of the Majzik triangle pair used for plotting a point. He first recognized the benefits of the adjustable angle mirror and the advantage of numerical calculation of polygons. Until the emergence of digital technologies the point plotter remained a versatile tool in topography, geography, astronomy, architecture, and in many other fields.
